Description

Kingsbarns Farm comprises a farmhouse and associated farm buildings, reflecting development across the 18th and early 19th centuries, with a modernised farmhouse from the early 20th century. The farmhouse is a 2-storey, 4-window structure with a harl exterior and slate roof, featuring a porch. The farm buildings retain their original character, constructed from rubble and pantile. A notable feature is an octagonal horsemill located on the north side. A 2-storey range fronting North Street, originally with an inset triangular pediment, has been reroofed in asbestos and incorporates a single-storey wing that has been converted into a garage. The farmhouse itself is of group value. The statutory address includes Main Street and North Street.
