Kingsbarns Farm, Main Street, Kingsbarns

Kingsbarns Farm is a mixed group of buildings including a farmhouse and associated farm buildings, dating from the 18th and early 19th centuries. The farmhouse was modernised in the early 20th century and is two storeys high with four windows, built of harl with a slate roof and featuring a porch. The farm buildings, constructed of rubble with pantile roofing, remain largely unaltered. A notable feature is an octagonal horsemill located on the north side. A two-storey range of buildings facing North Street, formerly reroofed in asbestos and featuring an inset triangular pediment, is present, alongside a single-storey wing and a cottage which have been converted into a garage. The farmhouse is designated as having group value, reflecting its contribution to the surrounding area. The statutory address covers Main Street and North Street, Kingsbarns.
