Description
North Quarter Farm Steading dates from the early 19th century. It is a single-storey structure built of rubble with droved dressings. The steading includes a loft at the north end, in the Threshing Mill section, and segmental cart-shed arches. The roof is pantiled. A horse-mill is present, now without a roof. In 2006, the steading was re-categorized as a building of Group Value (Group C(S)) from Building (B), reflecting its significance as part of a wider group. The listing applies to both the interior and exterior of the steading, as appropriate to its building type.
