Description

The Falkland Arms Hotel, dated 1607 as indicated by an inscribed lunette panel, was remodeled in the early 19th century. It is a three-storey building with four windows, constructed from squared rubble. The original moulded openings are located on the first floor, while the other openings are from the 19th century and feature margins. There are two artisan pilastered doorpieces. The back wing includes inset pediments dated NMAO 1611, which appear to have come from Mondrief House.
