Description
The Bank of Scotland in Falkland was originally built around 1845, with a west extension added around 1880 and a large south addition to Back Wynd by Harold O Tarbolton, dated 1900. The original section is two stories high with three windows, featuring a moulded arched doorpiece and three gabled dormer heads, along with timber-mullioned openings. The west extension has a canted front with gabled dormer heads, while the rear extension is single storey with an attic. The building is constructed of ashlar and slate, showcasing fine detailing throughout.
