Description
18th century. 2-storey, 3-bay, L-plan farmhouse with single storey range to E. Harled, orange in colour. Ashlar surrounds to windows; doors and coping to dormers.
N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: central replacement, panelled door; flanking windows. 3 1st floor gabled dormer windows centred above. 3 windows in range to left.
E ELEVATION: 1st floor window to left. Plain gable to single storey range.
S ELEVATION: advanced 2-bay gable wall to left; replacement door to right; flanking window to left. Central replacement door to section set back to right. Modern timber and glazed, flat-roofed porch. Flanking window to right; 1st floor window to left. Central door with flanking windows to single storey range; replacement garage doors to far right.
W ELEVATION: 2 ground floor windows; 2 1st floor gabled dormer windows centred above.
Predominantly 8-pane timber sash and case windows. Replacement pantile roof. Piended to W; gabled elsewhere; raised flat-head skews. Coped gable apex stack to E house gable.
INTERIOR: not seen, 2000.
GARDEN WALL: rubble wall; rough coping stones; extends from NW corner of house gable westwards to pair of gatepiers; pyramidal coping stones; plain metal gate. Wall continues at right angles, running northwards enclosing rectangular-plan garden; terminates in identical gatepiers with narrow replacement gate at NE corner of single storey wing.
