Description
This property is an earlier 19th-century farmhouse that is two storeys high and has a three-bay near L-plan layout, with a single-storey wing on the left and an attached range on the right. The farmhouse is constructed from harl, while the range is made of painted rubble. The openings of the farmhouse feature painted margins.
On the east elevation, there is a central gabled porch that is advanced, with a boarded timber entrance door and a narrow letterbox fanlight. Flanking the porch are single windows at both the ground and first floors, with the first-floor windows breaking the eaves to form gables. To the outer left, there is a single window in the piend-roofed single-storey wing. The outer right has a recessed range with two bays of single windows at both the ground and first floors, and a single opening in the outer right of the single-storey section.
The west elevation features a six-bay arrangement grouped as 2-2-2. There are two entrances to the outer left of the single-storey section of the range, which has double openings. The two-storey section of the range has two single windows at the ground and first floors, except for the entrance to the right at ground level. There is a single window at the ground floor and a single first-floor window that breaks the eaves to form a gabled dormer in the penultimate bay to the left, along with a single window at the first floor of the advanced gablehead. A timber door with a letterbox fanlight is located to the left of the re-entrant angle, with a single window to the right.
The south elevation has a single window to the outer left, a small single window to the outer right at ground level, and a single gabled dormer window at the first floor. The piend-roofed single-storey wing has a blank elevation. There is a single window at the ground floor and a single gabled dormer window at the first floor in the re-entrant angle to the left, along with a recessed timber door to the piend-roofed single-storey wing on the outer right.
The windows throughout the property are predominantly 4-pane timber sash and case. The roof is covered with grey slate and features wallhead and apex stacks with circular cans.
The boundary walls include a brick wall to the east of the farmhouse and a painted decorative castellated-style brick wall to the southeast, along with two-leaf iron gates.
