Craigduckie Cottage

Craigduckie Cottage is an early 19th century, single storey cottage with an attic and an adjoining out-building. It is constructed from sandstone rubble, featuring droved surrounds to the openings and quoins.

On the south elevation, there is a central door with a step and flanking windows. The out-building is set back to the right, with a door located to the left. The west elevation has an attic window on the right. The north elevation features a central window and possibly a sluice hole in the out-building. The east elevation includes an attic window to the left and a plain gable on the out-building.

The cottage currently has missing windows and a plank door. It has raised flat-head skews and a pitched slate roof, with gable end stacks, although the eastern stack is missing. The out-building has a pitched roof covered with early red clay pantiles. The interior of the cottage was gutted in 2000.
