Description
Rose Cottage is a mid-18th century, two-storey, three-bay house with a single-storey, five-bay wing to the east. The eastern wing was altered in the late 19th century and is now a separate cottage. The main house is constructed of rubble with painted and chamfered margins. It features a modern central door flanked by small plate-glass windows. The west gable has a crow-stepped design, while the east gable has skewes featuring moulded skewputt details and corniced end stacks. The cottage has a door opening added around 1979, alongside three sash windows, one bay containing a blocked opening. Both buildings have corniced stacks and pantile roofs. The cottage adjoining Rose Cottage is listed for group value only.
