Description
Kettle Old Parish Church and its churchyard, located on Main Street in Kingskettle, primarily feature 19th century construction. The churchyard is enclosed by rubble-built walls. In the west wall, there are two square, dressed ashlar piers topped with flat pyramidal caps, along with decorative cast-iron gates. On the north wall, there is a small, single-storey watchhouse built from rubble, which has a central door flanked by blind windows. The watchhouse has a steeply pitched gabled roof made of corrugated iron, with a single stack at the apex. The site also contains several interesting monuments from the 17th to 19th centuries.
