Description
The Clydesdale Bank, located at 57 High Street in Elie, is a building from the mid-19th century that has been altered in the 20th century. It is two stories tall and features a remodeled ashlar ground floor, which includes decorative architraves and an entablature fascia band with consoles above the doorpiece. The first floor has coursers and a three-window arrangement, with a tripartite window to the right. There is also a tripartite two-window gable facing the Vennel and rear outshots. The upper floor has reglazed two-pane sash windows. The building has a slated roof with a skew and a cornice stack on the left side.
