Description

The Parish Church on High Street in Elie was rebuilt in 1831, incorporating a central clock tower that dates back to 1726. It has a T-plan layout and is constructed from plain rubble with four-centred arched openings. The tower has a square plan that transitions to an octagonal shape, topped by a later domed cylindrical belfry. The building features quoined corners and in-and-out voussoirs on the arched doorpiece. There is a modern west porch and other alterations, and the windows have been reglazed.
