Building 213, Watch Office, Technical Side, Raf Leuchars

Building 213, known as the Watch Office, is a two-storey Modernist structure built in 1939 as part of the Technical Side at RAF Leuchars. The building features a flat roof and is constructed with reinforced concrete and brick internal walls. The principal southern elevation of the upper storey is recessed to create a railed viewing platform, and it has curved glazed corners. The design includes continuous cill bands and an eaves band, with near-continuous glazing on the southern elevation. However, all the glazing has been replaced with non-traditional uPVC.

Inside, the building has been converted into offices, but the original room layout is believed to be largely intact. A concrete staircase with paired metal balusters and a timber handrail provides access between floors.
