Description

Designed by Lieutenant JGN Clift (Royal Engineers) around 1918. Group of three gabled former barracks blocks laid out in parallel. Single storey eight-bay rectangular plan with distinctive full length raised central area to roof with clerestorey windows. Rendered and painted brick. Bays divided by buttresses. Lean-to porches to north elevation. Corrugated metal roofs. Non-traditional replacement windows to ground floor and clerestorey. INTERIOR: modernised.
