Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey with attic, 6-bay irregular pair of houses. Harled with painted margins.

S ELEVATION: No 3, symmetrical, 3-bay. Part-glazed door at centre with windows in flanking bays, regular fenestration at 1st floor and 19th century rooflight above at centre with small piended timber dormers over outer bays. No 5, smaller closely grouped bays, timber door at centre with windows in flanking bays, 1st floor with window at centre and in bay to left, cast-iron rooflight near centre left.

12-pane glazing pattern in timber sash and case windows. Purple slates. Broad coped gablehead stacks with cans, ashlar coped skews and thackstanes.

BOUNDARY WALL AND RAILINGS: low coped and harled boundary wall with inset decorative later cast-iron railings.
