Description

The Classroom Block at St Leonard's School in St Andrews was built in the late 18th century. It features a striking Roman Doric column doorpiece. The main structure is three stories high, constructed from snecked rubble, and includes a clock tower topped with an ogee lead cap. The rear elevation facing Abbey Street is harled. The building was designed by Gillespie & Scott and underwent construction between 1882 and 1902, with further work completed in 1926.
