Description
36 and 38 South Street in St Andrews is an early 16th century building that stands three stories high with an attic and features five windows. The exterior is whitewashed harl with painted margins and includes four swept dormers. The second-floor windows are moulded and there is an armorial panel for Prior John Hepburn. The building's frontage was remodeled in the early 19th century and it was converted into flats in the mid-19th century. Renovations took place between 1970 and 1972.
