Description

The dovecot at Kinaldy House dates from the late 17th or early 18th century. It is a small, single-chamber structure of the crowstepped lean-to type, built from rubble with large ashlar dressings. The building features two rat courses, one located below the eaves and the other just above. On the south side, there is a small checked door with a relieving arch. The original roof has been replaced with corrugated material, and the interior includes stone nesting boxes for the doves.
