Description
The Cottages at Offices, Kinaldy House, date from the earlier 19th century and consist of a neat row of single-storey cottages, each with small front garden areas. The cottages are primarily constructed of rubble with droved ashlar dressings and feature ashlar-faced gables. Each cottage has a central door and a window, while the northeast cottage includes a later bipartite door and three windows. One of the windows is set within a pedimental gable that has blind oculi in the tympana. There are steps leading down to a basement door at the northeast gable. The cottages have a grey pantiled roof with slate easing, straight skews, and four corniced stacks, with the center pair made of ashlar and the end pair rebuilt. There are also rear additions to the cottages.
