Description
A row of four cottages dating from the early 19th century, located on the south side of High Street, Branston and Mere. The cottages are constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings, topped with a slate roof. The roof has deeply overhanging eaves and two stacks built of white brick. The front façade is double-fronted. Centrally, there are two thin casement windows, flanked by two doorways: one with a 19th-century door, and the other with a 20th-century glazed door. Further flanking these are four, three-light casement windows on the ground floor, all of which are topped with Tudor-style dripmoulds. Above these ground-floor openings are six, two-light casement windows set beneath the eaves.
