Description

Bridgetown Bridge, dated 1853 on an inset panel on the west side, features a small single semi-circular span constructed of snecked rubble. The bridge has raised dressed voussoirs, a belt course at road level, and a coped parapet. The abutments are splayed wider at the approaches and have droved end piers. There are small slit weepholes in the spandrels.
