Description

The Newport Hotel, located at 1 High Street in Newport-On-Tay, dates back to 1806 and was originally a coaching inn. The building features a two-storey main front with three windows, a cornice, and a blocking course. The central bay projects and includes a Roman Doric pilastered doorpiece with a wide segmentally-arched opening. There is a large later south addition that has been partially altered. The roof is slated.
