The County Hotel, located at 7-9 Castle Street in Forfar, dates from around 1800. This three-storey coaching inn features a six-window and fanlight doorpiece on the ground floor, with three windows above. The building is finished in stucco and includes a cill, lintel, and moulded eaves courses. There are also two small original dormers.
