Description

17 Castle Street in Forfar is a three-storey building dating from around 1880, designed in the Victorian Renaissance style. It features three windows, with the outer windows being bipartite. The central windows are supported by consoles and topped with segmental pediments. The ground floor has been modernized for a shop. The building was re-categorised from grade B to grade C(S) in 2006, reflecting its group interest, and the listing applies to both the interior and exterior as appropriate for this type of building.
