Description

25 and 29 Castle Street in Forfar are plain three-storey buildings dating from around 1840. They feature five windows on the front, with architraves at the first floor, part of which is painted. There is also a two-window annexe made of painted ashlar with margins and a segmental pend arch. The buildings were re-categorised from grade B to grade C(S) in 2006, reflecting their group interest. The listing applies to both the interior and exterior, as is appropriate for this type of building.
