Description
Laurelbank Cottage is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay house that includes an adjoining single-storey, three-bay cottage to the east, which is dated 1884, likely marking its conversion into a dwelling. The building is constructed from whin rubble with yellow ashlar long and short dressings and chamfered margins. It features doors to the inner bays, with an off-centre cottage door, and has 12-pane sash windows throughout. The roof has straight skews and corniced end stacks. The cottage has a single box dormer and a pantiled roof, while the house roof is slated.
