Description

The Walled Garden at Coates House is an 18th-century rectangular enclosure featuring curved corners. It is connected at the southwest corner to the eastern parapet of a bridge. The structure is built from rubble, and the garden walls have short ashlar coping. There are derelict greenhouses along the northern wall. The bridge, which dates to 1778, has a small single pointed arch that spans a ditch.
