3-4 Pilmour Links, St Andrews

3-4 Pilmour Links in St Andrews is a 2-storey, 4-bay shop and office building with a dwelling above, designed by Charles Anderson and dated 1901. The structure is built from squared and snecked, dressed rubble with ashlar margins. It features a bracketed cornice at the ground floor and an eaves course. The gable is crowstepped, and there are stone mullions throughout.

On the southeast elevation, the shop is located to the left of center, featuring an in-canted, part-glazed center door flanked by polygonal cast-iron columns. To the immediate right is a timber door with a plate glass fanlight, all situated below a frieze. There are two windows in the bay to the right of center, along with a boarded timber door (pend entrance) with a plate glass fanlight to the outer right.

The first floor includes a bipartite window to the outer left, a bay to the left of center with a window to the right and a dated panel in the crowstepped gable above, a corbelled canted tripartite window in the bay to the right, and a further small window to the outer right. The windows feature 4-pane and plate glass glazing patterns in timber sash and case frames. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are coped ashlar stacks, coped skews, and moulded skewputts. Decorative cast-iron downpipes with rainwater hoppers complete the exterior.
