Description
Around 1823. 2-storey, 3-bay house, converted to offices at ground. Coursed rubble with stone margins and droved quoins. S ELEVATION: symmetrical. Deep-set, 2-leaf panelled timber door to centre at ground, later broad canted window in bay to left, and shop window with deep-set door to left in bay to right, lettered fascia over each window; regular fenestration to 1st floor. 8-pane glazing pattern in timber sash and case windows; fixed display windows to ground. Grey slates. Coped ashlar and harl shouldered stack; coped skews. BOUNDARY WALLS, GATE AND RAILINGS: low, saddleback-coped, squared rubble boundary walls with inset railings and decorative cast-iron gate.
