Description

Late 19th century in appearance. Gothic church on corner site with main gabled front to street, traceried giant nave window, porches on either side, one fronting steeple, the other in link to hall. Rock-faced red ashlar, dressed detailing, slated roofs, thin

slated spire set within steeple parapet. Hall also has gabled front to street, disabled access ramp in red engineering brick. T-plan arrangement inside church, main capitals and corbels are sculptural, main roof open timber, organ in one transept, low timber-built pulpit. Impressive c.1970 leaded glass window in liturgical east gable.

Iron-railed boundary walls also rock-faced red ashlar.
