Description

Wood Well Cottage is a pair of mid-19th century farm cottages, located alongside one another at Drem Farm Cottages. They are roughly arranged in a T-shape. The cottages are built of roughly squared and snecked rubble stone with ashlar dressings. Each cottage has an L-shaped plan, with the entrance and windows positioned at the angle, and a window facing the south gable. There have been additions made to the rear of the cottages. They feature sash and case windows with 4-pane glazing. The roofs are covered in red pantiles, with straight skews and ashlar coped end and ridge stacks. The cottages are shown on the Ordnance Survey Map of Haddingtonshire from 1854.
