Description
Woodlane Cottage comprises two adjacent pairs of mid-19th century, single-storey, T-plan farm cottages. The cottages are constructed of roughly squared and snecked rubble with ashlar dressings. Each cottage has an L-shaped plan, with the entrance and a window situated at the angle, and a window facing the south gable. Additions have been made to the rear of the cottages. They have sash and case windows with 4-pane glazing. The roofs are covered in red pantiles, with straight skews, and ashlar coped end and ridge stacks. The cottages are shown on the Ordnance Survey map of Haddingtonshire from 1854.
