Beachcote, Golf House Road, Dunbar

Beachcote is a mid-19th century single storey and attic cottage located on Golf House Road in Dunbar. It features a rear wing that is an extension in the same style, though with a slight variation in masonry colour and is almost contemporary to the main structure. The building is constructed of rubble with dressed ashlar dressings, including cill and lintel courses. The corners are chamfered and corbelled to square below the eaves. The windows have a 4-pane glazing pattern, and there are timber eaves brackets.

On the north entrance front, there is a canted bay with a slate roof on an advanced gable. Above the door, there is a narrow fanlight, and to the right, a bipartite light. The west gable head has a small window, while the south wing features a 2-light window. The south and east gable heads have round windows set in ashlar blocks. The roof is slate, complemented by decorative circular ashlar stacks.
