9 Bowmont Terrace, Queen's Road, Dunbar

10 Bowmont Terrace, located on Queen's Road in Dunbar, is a two-storey terrace of six houses built in 1884. The first floor breaks the eaves, and the houses are arranged in pairs, mirrored around the center. The exterior is constructed from red sandstone rubble that is snecked and squared, with vertically droved ashlar dressings. The roofs are covered with slate, and the barge boarding is plain. Decorative fixtures are present on the gutters.

Each house features a projecting bipartite window at the ground floor, which has chamfered angles and moulded stops, topped with a pentice roof that is continuous with the main roof, forming porch canopies supported by timber brackets. The panelled doors are complemented by plate glass fanlights. The windows consist of small-pane upper sashes and two-pane lower sashes on the first floor, while the ground floor has a plate glass lower sash. The first floor lintels have a carved centre lip. The houses have unusual half piend roofs over the gables, which are either single or two-bay in width, and there are segmental or triangular pedimented dormers above the doors on the sides.

Notably, house number 6 has been re-roofed with darker slates.
