3 Bowmont Terrace, Queen's Road, Dunbar

3 Bowmont Terrace is a two-storey terrace of three houses built in 1884, located on Queen's Road in Dunbar. The houses are mirrored about the center, with the first floor breaking the eaves. Each house features three bays constructed of red sandstone rubble that is snecked and squared, with vertically droved elevation dressings. The roofs are slate, complemented by plain barge boarding and decorative gutter fixtures. Each house has full-height canted bays that are mitred to square under the gable eaves, and there is a string course dividing the floors. The dormers are segmentally pedimented and gabled, while the door canopies are bracketted and covered with fish-scale slates.

No. 3 has 4-centred frames for the door and windows, with diamond lead-pane lower lights and stained glass in the upper sections. It likely underwent alterations in the 1930s. No. 4 features an addition of a greenhouse and a WC from 1901. No. 5 had an altered porchway in 1900 by George Fortune of Duns, along with the addition of a turret WC and a flat-roofed bathroom at the rear in 1904.
