Description

The Orangery at Beanston is a four-bay structure built in the mid to late 18th century. It features an arcaded southern front made of ashlar stone, which includes rusticated keystones and quoins, as well as an eaves course and cornice. The sides and rear are constructed from rubble. On the western elevation, there is a further glazed arch, while the eastern side has double service doors. The arcade is glazed up to the spring of the arches and includes 30-pane sash and case windows, with ashlar stone above. The roof is flat and has a blocking course.
