Description

Circa 1900, Lion Foundry, Kirkintilloch, open, octagonal, cast iron bandstand on concrete base. Shallow ogee lead roof with step below concave top section; cast iron finial and brattishing at eaves.

8 slender cast iron Ionic columns on cast iron pedestals support ornate convoluted brackets under wide eaves and between columns. Ornamental iron railings between pedestals.
