Description
This is a cartshed and granary dating to circa 1825. It is constructed of squared rubble with contrasting dressings to the centre bay, featuring chamfered arrises to the cartshed piers. Timber lintels span the pend and cart openings. A central pend is set within a taller bay, framed by a pointed-arch recessed panel which also contains a small granary window. Above this are blind arrow slits and crenellated capping. Doorways with flanking four-bay cart openings are located to the left and right of the pend, with rectangular granary windows positioned above each cart opening. The roof is tiled with pantiles, incorporating a slate eaves easing course and a gable behind the pend loft. Ashlar coped skews are also present.
