Description
Clober Farm is a restored early 18th century farmhouse with later wings added around 1800. The entire building was modernised in 1946. It features harled walls, two storeys, a slate ridge, and a round projecting staircase. The farmhouse was occupied as a dower-house by Margaret Douglas of Mains, known as "Duchess Peggy," after the death of her husband, the Duke of Douglas.
