Description
St Paul's Church, located on Strathblane Road in Milngavie, was built in 1898 and designed by the architects Leadbetter and Fairley. The church features solid snecked rubble walls, a double gabled transept, and an apsidal end. Diagonal buttresses connect to a cill band, and there are painted openings with late Gothic tracery. A prominent feature is the massive window with nine lights located in the end gable facing the street. The church also has a heavy porch supported by strong set back buttresses.
