Bournemouth, Milngavie Road, Bearsden

This building, located on Milngavie Road in Bearsden, dates from the late 18th or early 19th century. It is a two-storey structure with its entrance at the first floor level, featuring a harled exterior with painted margins. The west elevation has a central door on the first floor, which is flanked by pilasters and topped with a cornice; this door is now glazed and leads to a railed flyover from the pavement. There are two windows on the first floor and three on the ground floor, with the first-floor windows positioned in the gables. The east elevation also has three windows and a central panelled door, accompanied by pilasters and a cornice. The roof is slated, with straight skews and end stacks. Additionally, there is a single-storey harled and slated wing to the south, which is set at right angles to the main house.
