Description

This early 19th century byre is part of a former farm complex. It features a two-storey, three-bay farmhouse with single-storey wings that create a U-shape to the north. The building is constructed from snecked random rubble with cream sandstone margins, while the wings are painted. There is a later low coped wall along the street, which includes metal railings, square-plan gatepiers, and metal gates. The roof is covered with grey slates and has coped gablehead stacks. The windows are predominantly non-traditional tilt and turn timber designs, and there are some skylights present.
