Description
6-8 St Germain Street in Catrine is an early 19th-century pair of two-storey, three-bay terraced flatted dwellings. The exterior is dry-dashed with painted ashlar dressings, featuring quoin strips, a base course, and an eaves course. The main entrance doors are located at the center, with an adjoining window to the left of the door. The first-floor windows are positioned close to the eaves. The rear elevation is plain and has been refurbished, with modern extensions added.
The front of the building has timber sash and case 12-pane windows, while the rear features modern plate glass. The roof is covered with grey slates at the front and concrete tiles at the rear, with ashlar coped skews and brick chimney stacks.
