Description

D Menzies (Edinburgh) 1897-99. Curvilmear gothic red snecked

rubble, slated roof. Broad S gable front, doorway with 3

orders granite shafts, pair of 2 lights and rose window

above; low gabled tower on W, tall 4 stage tower with twin

belfry windows, stone spire rising 140 ft with tall lucarnes

flanked by octagonal pinnacles on E: body of church behind

has gabled flanks with 3 light windows, transpets with 4

lights, canted organ chamber apse. Interior: pitch pine roof

open to collar beams, gallery S. end over entrance vestibule.
