Kazarami, 37 Monifieth Road, Broughty Ferry, Dundee

Kazarami is an early 19th century, two-storey house located at 37 Monifieth Road in Broughty Ferry, Dundee. It has a rectangular plan with rear projections and is designed in a classical style. The exterior is harled with painted dressings and features a slate piended roof. The house has 12-pane sash and case windows, and shouldered wallhead stacks with decorative cans.

On the south elevation, there is a central door with a fanlight, framed by a pilastered and corniced doorpiece, accessed by a short flight of steps. Flanking the door are windows, with three additional windows on the first floor. The east elevation displays asymmetrical fenestration, with windows on both the ground and first floors towards the right. The west elevation is blind, featuring a stack similar to the others and a single-storey lean-to that is slightly set back on the left. The north elevation includes a stair window on the first floor, with single-storey and attic projections on the left and a lean-to with a cat-slide roof on the right. There is also a timber case pump with a cast-iron spout marked 'Ja. Urquhart Plumber'.

Inside, the house boasts a well-designed stair with decorative cast-iron balusters and a timber handrail, along with decorative plaster ceilings. The property is enclosed by a coped rubble boundary wall on the south side.
