47 Monifieth Road in Broughty Ferry, Dundee, is a semi-detached villa pair designed by Gauldie, Hardie and Sharpe in 1930. This single-storey and attic building features a rectangular plan and showcases a late Arts and Crafts cottage style. The exterior is harled with a red tile roof, complemented by a harled stack with brick coping and original black (and one red) cans. The windows are primarily timber casements with 6- and 8-pane configurations, some of which have painted cills and lintels.

On the south elevation, there are paired canted windows at the center, flanking two-leaf boarded doors that have glazed diamond panels, with additional windows in the outer bays. The deep eaves and paired jettied gabled dormers at the center feature horizontal fenestration, and there is a central ridge stack.

The east and west gables include a door and window at ground floor level on the north side, along with a stair window at the first floor that has a timber transom and mullion, flanked by 8- and 12-pane casements and a lintel course.

The north elevation has been slightly altered and features a lean-to projection at the center, with multi-pane tripartite windows set back beneath gabled dormers, and doors on the left and right. The first floor has paired gables similar to the south elevation.

Additionally, there is an original rubble wall at the south with plain gatepiers on both the left and right sides.
