Description
This building is a single-storey T-plan gabled lodge, possibly designed by G H Stokes between 1861 and 1863. It is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings. The lodge features a gabled porch in the west re-entrant angle, which has a round-arched door with a hood mould. To the left, there is a four-light canted bay with an ashlar stone prentice roof. The south gable includes a mullioned triple light window with an armorial above it. The roof is slate with iron brattishing, and there are square ashlar stacks. The windows are sash and case with lying panes.
