Description

Probably William Burn, circa 1824-30. Long single-storey rubble-built stable range punctuated by small windows and small and large doors. Rear elevation almost blind except small hinged openings. Blind gables. Tacksmsn's house (now harness store) adjoins to E, projecting slightly to the rear: ashlar symmetrical 3-bay front with centre door. Corniced gable end stacks.

Slate roof with overhanging eaves, skylights and small ridge ventilators to stable. Windows sash and case, 12-pane glazing pattern.

Interior: stalls are probably not original.
