Description
The Kennels at Erskine House, built around 1860, are attributed to the architect William Burn and feature Tudor architectural elements. This single-storey building is designed in a U-plan and constructed from stugged coursers with ashlar dressings. It has pointed depressed arch doors located in the gable ends, along with small slit windows above them. Each internal face contains a window and a door. The roof is slated and supported by stone brackets, featuring a shaped stack with a corbelled cornice. The flank walls are made of coursed rubble, and there are railings surrounding the outer exercise yards.
