Description

George Shaw Aitken, 1880. Single storey, L-plan lodge. Snecked rubble with pale ashlar dressings, slate roof. 4-pane sash and case windows with chamfered margins; plain bargeboards with exposed collars, posts and purlins at finialled gables; decorative cast-iron rainwater goods; ridge stack.

W ELEVATION: door with swept roof at centre re-entrant; bipartite window at left, advanced gable at right with canted tripartite, bracketted cill, facetted roof.

S ELEVATION: 2 windows, blank heraldic panel at attic; similar treatment at N elevation but with 1 window.
